Glue gun or all-purpose glue (low temp glue gun works best)
Wire Cutters

19 yards Am-Twist soft paper covered wire (I use natural color for apple trees)
12 1/2″ apples
1/3 package Galaxy bleached dried white flowers

Wood or driftwood with 3″ nail in center

Swing; cut 1 1/2″ piece of popsicle stick, drill a small hole in each end. Attach string through holes and knot. Tie swing in tree.

Cut 42 pieces of wire 16″ long

Align ends and twist 2 1/2″ from end for 5″

Divide into 6 groups of 7 Twists for 1″ then divide into 3 wires and 4 wires and twist to end.

Divide into 3 groups of 14 and twist for 2″

Divide each bough into 2 groups of 7 and twist for 2″. Divide these into groups of 4 and 3 wires and twist 1 1/2″. Divide the 4 wire groups into 2 twist 1 1/2″ then open 2 ends.

For real look tree put kinks and twists into branches as you twist them.

Put glue on nail and slide the center of the tree onto nail. Arrange apples on branches and secure with a small amount of glue. On the end of each wire, glue a small bunch of white flowers.

*Project Variations:
The soft paper covered wire is now available in sixteen colors. With these colors and the addition of the new soft iridescent wire, this project may now be made to compliment the many festive occasions celebrated throughout the calendar year!!!
